Guidevi is built with open-source software. The in-app “Open Source Licenses” screen shows the full license texts; this page lists the components and where to get the VLC source.
VLCKit and libVLC (LGPL-2.1+)
Guidevi uses VLCKit 3.7.3 and the libVLC 3.0.23 it embeds, linked dynamically and unmodified.
